INDIGO
JAPAN DORAKU is a project founded with the theme of ``creating a bright future through the circulation of people and money'' and focusing on the inheritance of Japanese tradition and culture, with social activities as its first priority.
SEILIN & Cosympathized with this project and created a special collection with original brands.
[Design]
A shirt that can be worn like a jacket. The shiny piping tape tucked into the raglan sleeves is reminiscent of a festival ``tasuki''.
[Material]
We use densely woven fabric from Bishu.
The warp of rayon and the weft of hemp are woven at high density, giving the appearance of linen threads running horizontally across the surface. It is characterized by a refreshing feeling, moderate firmness, and thickness.
[Details/Silhouette]
The sizing is generous from the shoulders to the chest area, and the size is such that it can be worn even with several layers of innerwear.
The length is also perfect, giving the impression that you are wearing a long jacket. There are two front buttons, one at the top and one at the center of the body, to make it easier to put on and take off and put on.
[BLUE BLUE JAPAN REWORK]
Handwork such as indigo dyeing and natural dyeing forms the basis of BLUE BLUE JAPAN. Fascinated by its deep colors and the way it grows and changes depending on its owner, we have been developing items using various techniques and methods for a long time.
The REWORK series is a special item that takes a completed product and further processes it to create a new product.
This item was partly resist dyed using batik dyeing and then dyed using indigo dyeing.
Wax is applied by hand over the entire piece with a brush to create an irregular and dynamic pattern, and after it dries, the same area is coated with wax over and over again, and then indigo dyeing is applied over and over again to create a deep color.
By dyeing only the front and cuffs without applying wax.
Although it has a dynamic pattern, it has been created to create a piece that exudes a calm atmosphere.
Because it is dyed many times to make it darker,
You will also have to repeat waxing to prevent the wax from coming off.
Therefore, it is a dyeing method that takes time and effort for each step such as waxing, dyeing, washing, and wax removal.
BLUE BLUE JAPAN
We started by making things that were sewn together by hand, mainly using indigo, which gives a sense of warmth.
We create items that are comfortable to wear and can be worn for many years, with a focus on ``MADE IN JAPAN'' using colors and materials that evoke the feeling of the four seasons, with a focus on traditional Japanese indigo dyeing.
