BLUE BLUE JAPAN REWORK
Indigo dyeing is the basis of BLUE BLUE JAPAN. Fascinated by its deep color and the way it grows and changes depending on its owner, we have been developing indigo items using various techniques for a long time. The rework series is a special item that takes a completed product and further processes it to create a new product.

Uses standard materials from "BLUE BLUE JAPAN". Because it is made from wool jersey, it has a reputation for being a stretchy, soft and comfortable material.
The gray lattice-like pattern was inspired by a type of bamboo weaving known as Yotsumetai, and is said to have the meaning of warding off evil spirits.
The design is based on the motif of a casual haori, with no sloping shoulders and a relaxed silhouette typical of a haori.
The product was dyed in navy blue, like the bright night sky, to take advantage of the checkered pattern of the original knitted fabric. The dyeing process is done carefully to maintain the texture of the compressed wool.
