A haori jacket with a modern silhouette based on the shape of a noragi.

[Material]
Since it usesWoven Pure Indigo thread dyed with skein dyeing, it is characterized by slight vertical unevenness. The double weave on the dobby loom gives it thickness and elasticity without being heavy. By drying the threads in the dyeing process and in the weaving and finishing process without using high temperatures, we are able to create a soft and fluffy texture. This is an original sashiko material that has been made with comfort in mind and has been a standard for many years.

[Details/Silhouette]
The slightly wider cuffs are a characteristic of haori worn for various tasks and jobs. It is decorated with buttons so that it can be matched in the front, making it suitable for modern life. With the image of a firefighter hanten, we used Sakiori fabric to create a line from the back to the cuffs. The deep blue of the indigo-dyed Sashiko fabric is contrasted with the special blue of Sakiori.

We started by making products centered on indigo, which is sewn together by hand and gives a sense of warmth.
We create items that are comfortable to wear and can be worn for many years, focusing on the traditional Japanese techniqueWoven Pure Indigo , using colors and materials that evoke the four seasons, and being particular about ``MADE IN JAPAN.''

Precautions
This product usesWoven Pure Indigo material, so if you wear it repeatedly or wash it many times, the color will change from dark blue to light blue. Please avoid wearing it in combination with white or light colored items, or layering as the color will stain. The color will fade when washing, so please wash separately. Also, be careful not to expose it to light when storing it. Also, if you leave it folded, the creases may fade.
